Bar ‘n’ Bus is a Christian charity delivering professional, community-based Youth Work to engage and support local young people. Our team is made up of full time youth workers, students and almost 25 volunteers working across our programmes. We are a dynamic and growing charity, building new opportunities and breaking new ground. We value openness, a willingness to get stuck in and personal passion to see young people thrive alongside formal qualifications and experience.

Current Vacancies:
Communications & Fundraising Manager
Bar ‘n’ Bus are seeking to appoint a Part Time Communications & Fundraising Manager to lead the charity’s strategy for both sharing news of our work and generating funds to support that work. They will work closely with the CEO and frontline youth workers to ensure that the strategy meets to needs of the organisation and the young people with whom we work.
This will include:
- Digital Media Creation and Management
- Applying for funding
- Exploring opportunities for events and public activities
- Working with volunteers to assist with fundraising & communications
Details:
- Location: Rayleigh, Essex
- Contract: Part Time (18.5 hrs/wk), 6 month fixed term with possible extension
- Salary: £29,289.72 to £31,082.49 FTE (pro rata) depending on qualifications and experience
