Work With Us

Bar ‘n’ Bus is a Christian charity delivering professional, community-based Youth Work to engage and support local young people.  Our team is made up of full time youth workers, students and almost 25 volunteers working across our programmes.  We are a dynamic and growing charity, building new opportunities and breaking new ground.  We value openness, a willingness to get stuck in and personal passion to see young people thrive alongside formal qualifications and experience.

Why work with Bar ‘n’ Bus?

Make A Difference – we are passionate about building positive relationships with young people that bring about development and transformation.  Our programmes place young people at the centre and include detached youth work, target group programmes, in-school projects and intervention and 1-2-1 support.

Faith – as a Christian charity our work in underpinned by a living and active Christian faith.  As a team we have weekly times of prayer and reflection as well as opportunities through the year to explore faith and mission and God’s heart for young people and communities.

Opportunities – as a small and growing charity, we seek to stretch our team with opportunities to explore and develop new skills and experiences.  We welcome creative thinking and pushing boundaries in order to increase opportunities for greater support for young people.
